Exxene’s Anti Static (or ElectroStatic Dissipative ESD) coatings use a patented, conductive polymer to dissipate static and repel dust. These lightly tinted coatings exhibit good hardness and a typical surface resistivity of 5 x 10(6) ohms/cm2 . Resistivity can be varied from 5 x 10(3) ohms/cm2 to 5 x 10(11) ohms/cm2 .
Anti static coating produces an AS/ESD product that is less expensive and provides enhanced clarity compared to products blended with plastic additives. It also functions independently of humidity and cleaning.
