Before 1974, the plastics industry was searching for a coating to prevent fogging – one that really worked! Exxene accepted the challenge and produced the first effective, commercially viable anti fog coating.

We have become a leader in coating technologies, continuing to create products that add durability and functionality. Our product offerings have grown to include hard coats with extended shelf life and permanent, scratch-resistant anti-fog coatings. We have also developed unique primer options that provide excellent adhesion on a multitude of substrates. During that last decade, great technological strides have enabled us to create many unique products such as Photochromic, UV light-curable, and anti-static coatings.
